NCAE: A Helping Hand for the Future

Just this Wednesday, August 29, we took our NCAE. Having no idea of it, the day before the test, it so happened that our English teacher and our Physics teacher have it oriented to us. They both said that there is really nothing to be reviewed. Also, it just talks about how we come up with those things surrounding our lives. Lastly, just how we appreciate things and react with them.

NCAE stands for National Career Assessment Examination. We can see that from the meaning itself, it talks about one selves interest in life. It includes the field where we want to be engaged with. It also includes our way of learning that would lead us to a further knowing of where to go. And in fact, it is a test that could help a person decide which path he/she will be going, considering his own desire, decision, and interest.

We took the test. There were two parts: NCAE and OIISSS. Part I (NCAE) consists of other tests. There was a scientific ability test, reading comprehension test, verbal ability test, mathematical ability test, clerical ability test, manipulative ability test, non-verbal ability test, and an entrepreneurial skill test. In Part II (OIISSS), it just asks about my likes and enjoyment of things/habits/situations. It was a long test at all, but I can say that I enjoyed answering.

In my own opinion, I can say that taking the NACE would help me in my future. When the results came, I can found out where I am good. If I am doing better with the field I’m interested, that really helped, and if I am doing better at other fields, maybe I just need some confirmations and decision making. Yes it’s still upon my decision and regards in life, but it could lessen my thinking conflicts and suggest me another ones. It is indeed a big help, understanding the objective of the test, which is to help a person decide with his future.

Not just being a knowledgeable student at school, but as well a physically fit student. It’s not just pure knowledge that we learn at school, but also considered development of a student’s health. Through sports, a student learns to be aware of his physical development.

Importance of sports can be described by different characteristics. Physical fitness is the most valuable result of sports, whereas proper grooming and growth of body is developed. Sports teach us team spirit and unity enabling us to have strong relations with others. Sports as well, make a person mentally strong. Being a sportsman, he deals with successes and failures equally. Sports let students to have a constructive use of time as well. Students can refuse wasting their time like playing computer games.             Intrams is a part of sports. Students give time for this activity. Teachers let the students be independent. They let the students officiate a game, follow rules in every sport, and be sport as well. Through sports, a student’s life can be productive. Learn to be independent through simple ways.
