Memory To Be Kept

To: Ms. Ederleen G. Escallar
Please be at my house in Gary, Indiana this Saturday. I’ll be glad if you’ll be there to talk to me even just for this one afternoon. I’ll wait for you here.
From: Mr. Anonymous

I woke up at nine in the morning and received a letter from this anonymous guy. I didn’t know who he was then he was asking me to go to his house at Gary, Indiana to talk with him for one afternoon. I can’t explain the feeling but I’m really feeling strange with this. But nothing’s wrong with doing so, since I’m already here at Chicago, it would be easier for me to get there on time.
Exactly at 4:30 am, I travelled to airport and I reached my destination at around nine or ten. I have seen a banner with my name written on it but I didn’t recognize the face of the person holding it. I went there and I was extremely shocked with what I saw. There’s my idol. There’s Michael Jackson! He was that guy who invited me and I’m so glad that I didn’t ignored the invitation.
We went to his house and talked. “Were you shocked? You seemed to be quiet still.”, he asked me. “Uhh. Yes. I didn’t expect that you would be the one inviting me to spend an afternoon with you. :)”, I replied. “Don’t you worry, I just wanted to have a simple talk to my number one fan.”, he said and smiled. “Oh, thank you very much Mr. Jackson.” I said. “Just call me, Michael.”, he requested. “Uh, if that’s what you wanted, Michael.”, I agreed.
We talked about his life, and later on with mine. After the talk, he asked me of my favorite song of him. I said that it was his song “you are not alone”. He smiled and asked me to sing the song with him. Just then we sang and enjoyed other songs as well. We ate many foods as if we’re having a picnic. We danced as well and made fun of our stay together. We rested and said that he enjoyed my company and he really thinks I’m his number one fan. I knew everything about him and his songs, as he thinks as well. He gave me his last released album as a token of remembrance, which I placed at the inside pocket of my jacket. I thanked him so much since I’m longing for this and now I have it really from him. I looked outside and found out that it’s getting late in the evening already. He requested me to go again some other day and spend longer time jamming with him, and I assured him. We bid goodbyes and thanks. I left him with a smile from his and mine’s face.
Suddenly, I realized that someone else had been waking me up. I woke up and I saw myself riding on a plane with the stewardess telling me that my destination is already here. I thanked her and I went back home. I went to Chicago last year and now I am here at my house in Philippines. I recalled my dream. I’m half glad and half sad. I met my idol Michael Jackson, but only in my dreams. I took off my jacket and felt something hard inside it. I got it and saw my idol’s last released album I’m longing to have. I am now a hundred percent fulfilled with joy and happiness. I might be dreaming but I have had his album I desired, unexpected.

Eight Rings of Blunder

I walked through the Evil Educates Forest as fast as I can. I can see a lot of people suffering out there. I accidentally stumbled myself on the floor and looked up. I am afraid that these people might hurt me and let me suffer as how they do.
I have seen and reached the First Ring of Blunder. The Late Comers. I stood up and saw Sir Tom watching the students as they run through the forest for infinite times. Those who decided to stop were hit by a small truck and forced to run again. I asked his attention for a while and he made mention of me that these students were those who were always late going to school.
I walked along and reached the Second Ring of Blunder. The Loud. I saw Ma’am Tenny and the students who were speaking and speaking and speaking without pausing. Others who paused have their tongue’s cut off. She told me that these students were those who used to keep noisy all throughout.
I continued my journey and reached the Third Ring of Blunder. The Bullies. I saw students lying on human wastes. I saw Ma’am Elaine there and confronted her. She said that these students were those who used to torment other students and whenever they get up, they eat human wastes.
I walked again and reached the Fourth Ring of Blunder. The Vandals. I saw students who were painted with mud on their body. They were trying to remove the paintings but as long as they tried to, the paint gets thicker and thicker. Ma’am Lenny was there standing in front of me. She caught my attention and I talked to her. I learned from her that the students who were made to stay in here were those students who used to vandal on different things, and the reason for their punishment is for their bad works that made them suffer. I left.
I got tired and looked for water sources and found a small flowing water source out there. I washed my face with some and boost up. I decided to continue walking and stopped.
I went to the Fifth Ring of Blunder. The Lazy and Filthy. I saw students who were cleaning the floor as they were hanging on the ceiling. I also saw students who were buried in trash. I turned around and realized that Ma’am Mae was there at my back in the first place. I requested her to tell me about these students. She told me that students were here because they were lazy enough to left everything filthy. They do not have the intention to mess up their trashes.
I moved to the Sixth ring of Blunder. The Costly. I saw students tempted by many foods while Ma’am Evelyn was there observing them. They were injected with food starvation medicine. Ma’am Evelyn went near me and simply told me of these students who used to waste and waste.
I was at the Seventh Ring of Blunder. The Cheaters. Students were given 100-item tests by Ma’am Lucky while their feet are submerged on cold water. I approached Ma’am Lucky and she said that these students decided to cheat with their assignments and tests. Every time they finish a test, they were given ten minutes to rest and take the following tests.
At the Eight Ring of Blunder, I saw the Liars. There is Ma’am Pareja viewing the sufferings of students. The students here were brought on fire unto their lower half part of the body, and upper part brought on ice. I felt extreme pity upon them that I almost cried. Ma’am Pareja talked to me and she asked me to stop pitying on them. She mentioned that these students were here because they lied.
She warned me that I might see these kinds of students at school. She requested me to warn as well all the other students and I agreed. But, how? I asked her.
She woke me up. I was just sleeping at our school pavilion. I looked at my watch and it’s already six in the afternoon. I have to go home. I remembered ‘bout my dreams and smiled.

Simple Talk with a Friend

          Thursday. January 03, 2013. 5:00 pm.
The entire day had been a tiring or probably exhausting but productive one for everyone. The last class had ended already and Johnmike and I were talking about home works.
“Hey what’s our homework?” Johnmike confronted me.
I answered him that there’s a lot.
Will you please kindly tell me all?” he added.
I cannot reject on answering him so I said, “Alright”. He gave thanks.
“Here, do blog 2 which was the conversation,” I said.
He confronted me and said that he knew that already.
“Then blog 5 which was about the enigmatic smile of Monalisa,” I continued.
I also mentioned that if he’s still not yet done with his Suring Aklat then that’s one and another one which was about the questions to be answered about Noli Me Tangere though it’s not yet really needed.
“Okay, is that all?” he asked.
“No. Not yet,” I replied.
“So what are the others?” he continued.
“Completion of the index card in English as well,” I added.
He asked me if and said if it’s done.
I said no.
“Huh, so another?” he said confused and impatient.
“The conjugations, like that,” I easily replied.
He gladly said that he’s sure that it’s enough.
I said he was right.
He thanked me.
“Oh wait, I forgot,” I appended.
“Another one?” he complained.
I said that it’s not really; it’s just the LSB if he wanted it in advanced.
“Oh well, not really needed. But, thanks,” he gladly said.
“You’re always welcome,” I said and smiled.
He asked me that he’d just pack up all his things.
“Okay. Bye. I already have my things packed earlier, eh,” I said as I almost bid goodbye.
“Ahh. Sure. Bye. Thanks again,” he said and started packing things.
“Bye. Welcome,” I ended.
I left the room and went to our service. Johnmike continued packing all his belongings and left after he has done it.

We started with the very basic – simple looks, simple chats, and simple text messages. I have no idea how this usual habit between the two of us would come. Maybe, I just have not experienced being a very special person to somebody else, and I am looking forward to it. I sort of just a person out there who would jam with everyone, would stay with them, and would go on with their trip. It’s just that I’m a simple person there who’d be contented with my friends to hold on to, and with a very best friend who could stay at all times with me.
How about you? Well, I thought you are that person, whom I would just hang out there, enjoy your comradeship, and somewhat leave me for some time. But, I was wrong. That thought I have, had just been a mistake. You are special. I really enjoyed the way you go along with me, the way you react and interact with me, and your patience with my short-temperedness attitude. Just a short period of time, I learned to like you the way you are and to love you the way it’s supposed to be.
It had been a year and month since we first met. It’s been long somehow, right? Yet, there’s no reason to end it. Each day of my life with you were the best of every days. Each second I was with you is when my heart beats fast. Each problem I have was the more that I get stronger. The more that the days pass was the more that I learn to understand more I know not ‘bout you. I found my days more meaningful and colorful with you there. You really mean the world to me. If you don’t mind, I do look for more on what we could have been. Were young still, but I would want you to know how much I love you. Since the day we’ve met, the days that have passed, today, tomorrow and beyond, I’d just be here for you. Need problems, want advices, ask me for everything about help? I’ll be there for you.
Too soon, we’ll be graduating and be leaving each other. I guess you’d appreciate me still, no matter what the future would bring us. Follow your heart, and wait for what the future awaits you. Just you to be there for me until you can is what I only ask for, for now. This could be too much, but I want you to know that I won’t be far from your side, else be forever by your side. Jeirol Sarmiento, you are my every thing.

YOU’RE NOT JUST WHO YOU ARE AS WHAT YOUR JOB SAYS

“A good teacher is like a candle, it consumes itself to light the way of others.” A teacher or schoolteacher as defined is a person who provides education for pupils and students and carries a big responsibility in her classroom. One reason probably is that all students depend on her/him. Every little thing she’d say will do have impacts on students. Just as if a teacher feels joy, this feeling would even show upon students faces. As well as if a teacher gets mad, students would probably be affected causing them feel depression wanting to cure their teacher’s anger. As much as that, she’s the one responsible for any problem, though it’s surely not her cause. Everything that a student would receive from her would be a big reason for his/her changes, whether physically, mentally, socially, or emotionally.

A teacher is a hero definitely. She manages every student’s attitude. She’s the one responsible if ever problems would come between her students. It was also her duty to make every student well-mannered and well-disciplined. And as well like a mother was, she’s the one in-charge to handle her students and treat them as if they were hers for real. And I have been taught by a teacher and at the same time a hero.

She was my Science teacher. She’s very disciplined among all her students and that’s what I love her the most. She wants everything to be in place and with that everything must be right. She taught me a lot of things. Things and lessons, not just about science, but even about life, are what I learned. When it comes to science-related things, she explains everything, and when it comes to personal life experiences, she shares a lot. I learned from her how to love God more than how I knew to love him, I understand the significance of every things on Earth, I knew who I really am and who I really can be, and I finally learned how to love myself and everyone surrounding me. I even have words of knowledge and wisdom from her. I’d rather say that she’s terrific, energetic, able, cheerful, hardworking, enthusiastic, and remarkable. Those words are often used to describe a teacher. And I believe that I really found them as her characteristics. She was my Natural Science teacher during my first year and she’s no other than Mrs. Pareja. Not just a teacher, but as well as a hero and a mother to every student. I can’t wish any other thing from her. She’s perfectly complete with her attitudes and the type of person she was. Thank you Ma’am!

Teachers,! Though sometimes, I find your subject boring or what, I would like to tell all of you how I’m thankful you have learned to appreciate who I am as your student. I may have been somehow a not well-mannered student, but I can assure you all that I can change. Maybe there are just things that I’m not really aware of that I can do not so good things, but I know time will come for each of them. I’m very thankful for all of your patience and understanding. You enlighten the path for my success.

          THANK YOU TEACHERS!

TO BE OR NOT TO BE

To be or not to be, that is the question
Everything needs a direction;
Is it to go on and follow what’s right?
Or to take lucks from what’s wrong.

To be or not to be, that is the question
Our future lays ahead our decisions;
Even if you are on the right track,
You’ll get run over if you just rest there.

To be or not to be, that is the question
Go and get your solution;
Begin with what you think you can do,
But not to forget what is left there unsettled.

To be or not to be, that is the question,
You are always given the option;
Be ready for all the consequences,
And be thankful for all the worth-it results.

How Comedic is it?

Comedy of Errors? What does it mean? Though, this sounds funny and interesting, I wonder how this came to be? Why is the title like this? How significant could it be?
The “Comedy of Errors” is the shortest play of William Shakespeare. It was said to be one of his earliest plays, perhaps the first. The play itself has 16,258 words. The exact date of its composition is unknown but it was first performed on December 28, 1594 at Gray Inn’s Christmas Revels. This work of William Shakespeare was inspired by two Roman comedies of Plautus.
The “Comedy of Errors” was about the story of twin brothers with their twin slaves who have been separated.  The twin brothers were named as Antipholus’ and the twin brothers that are slaves were named as Dromio’s. Their father and their mother who brought each pair with them were brought to separate places. In this case, they have been separated as one of the Antipholus brothers with one of the Dromio brothers. Their separation gives way to their search of their missing pair.
This story of the play made me confused. At some time, I can’t stop myself from asking “Who’s who?”. Yet, the part that the play really caught my attention, I decided to get onto it. There was this part that Antipholus of Ephesus slap this Dromio of Syracuse for telling him inappropriate things. There’s this part as well that Antipholus of Syracuse dined with the wife of Antipholus of Ephesus that this Antipholus of Ephesus wasn’t able to enter his own house. That was really funny. Other parts as well, prove that this is a comedy of errors.
Mistaking your husband’s look-alike as your real husband that you were able to let him got trapped outside your house, talking to your master’s look-alike thinking that he was your real master and getting slapped in the face without doing anything wrong, since you’ve been telling him senseless ones while talking to the wrong person, and giving commands to your slaves as if he was your real slave.
I cannot stop myself from laughing since errors and mistakes were seen by me all throughout. Yet, there is the fact that its first purpose is to entertain readers, listeners, and viewers, it stays reminding us how to be so sure within every single thing that we are doing.

NCAE: A Helping Hand for the Future

Just this Wednesday, August 29, we took our NCAE. Having no idea of it, the day before the test, it so happened that our English teacher and our Physics teacher have it oriented to us. They both said that there is really nothing to be reviewed. Also, it just talks about how we come up with those things surrounding our lives. Lastly, just how we appreciate things and react with them.

NCAE stands for National Career Assessment Examination. We can see that from the meaning itself, it talks about one selves interest in life. It includes the field where we want to be engaged with. It also includes our way of learning that would lead us to a further knowing of where to go. And in fact, it is a test that could help a person decide which path he/she will be going, considering his own desire, decision, and interest.

We took the test. There were two parts: NCAE and OIISSS. Part I (NCAE) consists of other tests. There was a scientific ability test, reading comprehension test, verbal ability test, mathematical ability test, clerical ability test, manipulative ability test, non-verbal ability test, and an entrepreneurial skill test. In Part II (OIISSS), it just asks about my likes and enjoyment of things/habits/situations. It was a long test at all, but I can say that I enjoyed answering.

In my own opinion, I can say that taking the NACE would help me in my future. When the results came, I can found out where I am good. If I am doing better with the field I’m interested, that really helped, and if I am doing better at other fields, maybe I just need some confirmations and decision making. Yes it’s still upon my decision and regards in life, but it could lessen my thinking conflicts and suggest me another ones. It is indeed a big help, understanding the objective of the test, which is to help a person decide with his future.

Why for Sports?

“Just play. Have fun. Enjoy the game.” as what Michael Jordan says. Sport is all forms of competitive physical activity which, through casual or organized participation, aim to use, maintain or improve physical ability and provide entertainment to participants.

MAS NANAISIN KONG MAGING DALUBHASA SA AKING KINAGISNANG WIKA

“Every language is a temple in which the soul of those who speak it is enshrined.” It is the freedom to speak your own, yet what you speak defines you.
English is a West Germanic language that was first spoken in England and is now the most widely used language in the world. It can be inferred that English language is the second language of almost all Filipino people. English was that which we learn from school, hear from the radio, watch from foreign movies, and read from English pocketbooks or magazines. We do adaptation of the language considering different purposes. It’s either we need to as a part of our life, or we just want to know it, or it’s just that we want to keep pace with trends out there. Another thing was that, English language is what we Filipino’s use to communicate with others. Others say we shall be fluent in speaking English, so we will not be a shame, but what’s important as I believe, is that we know what’s right with that, and we can associate among others better than others do; though I can say that being fluent as well was good.

OPPOSITES ATTRACT

Each day of my life, I’ve been dreaming of her. I’ve been wondering whom that girl was. I was thinking of how she looks, how she acts, and everything about her. But this habit of mine was really a new one. I was a knave, fainéant, and contumacious guy. My question was how and why was it that I seem to be really serious of her, since, I was a playboy as well. I have played games upon other girls out there, telling them that I want them and we will be, and after some time, I’d just break up on them. Every girl I make fell in love with me was just a bet. But now, I seem to be a secret and anonymous sleuth of her. To accept that fact, I can’t help myself.
Being a famous student at school, due to my exceptional attitudes, I am considered to be the biggest problem of everyone. I was the most important topic of teachers during their weekly assemblage. I am the central news for each day. Even those queues at the canteen made me their usual topic. How known I really am. Perhaps, that’s the reason why others became garrulous –they make it as a habit for each day to talk of me.
I may be an intelligent student, but regard me as the laziest of the laziest. My life still was ennui. I’m just that type of person who always wears a smile behind my life full of obnoxious things. Family problems there, financial problems here, social problems there, behavioural problems here, and even other problems, I have them entirely. Probably that’s the reason why at sometimes I turn to be uncouth that they even sees and think of me as a fastidious one already. But I just tell myself that this girl would be the solution to my problems. Maybe I can be a better person if I have her.
In just a day, I finally met the prettiest girl I have never met before. She’s new at the campus –a transferee scholar. I, being a playboy, wasting time with some nonsense things and playing games with a girl’s heart, at last, met my opponent. My perspective of love –love was just a game where you can fool and play with, have changed eventually. I found love for that time as a thing and a feeling by which when you’re hurt, the pain really was there, and you can’t easily move on because the love stays for real. She caught me differently. I want her to be my girl. I need her, not just to change me as a person, but because I do love her.
I asked one of my friends to ask her name. He was shocked for that was the very first time that I came stupid with a girl. He asked me but I just pushed him and tell him to just please go. He did it and in return, he had her name –Karla. He still can’t believe why I seem to be really addicted to the girl, but I just take it
The next day, I approached her in the afternoon, while she was eating at the school cafeteria.
“Can I join you?” I asked her.
                “Yes.” She answered simply.
“You’re new in here, right?” I asked her.
“Ah, yes.” She simply answered once again.
“Are you afraid of me?” I questioned her. She really was a coy type of girl.
“No, but I have not known you in the first place.” She told me.
“Ah, well I’m Andy. Everyone in here knew me because I’m the famous guy they consider, but please do not be anxious of me. I can be a better person, if you’ll try to accept me, even just as a friend.” I introduced myself to her.
“^___^, I am Karla. It’s not a problem for me if you’ll be a friend, since no one had been my friend in here yet.” She smiles as she answers me.
“Friends?” I give her my hand and ask.
“Sure.” She smiled and shook my hand.
                *RINGGGGGGGGG!!*
“Oh, the bell rang, I must go now. Nice meeting you.” She approached me and leaves.
“Bye, take care.” I silently tell myself.
The next day, I saw her at the bench sitting alone. I would like to go to her, but my friends would mind me. I just tell them that I have to go back to the room to get something, but I went on the other way. I go to her, and…
                “K-K-Karla,.”
“Ohw, Andy. Why? Is there something wrong? Are you alright?” She asked.
“Uh, can I join you again?” I answered.
“Yeah, sure. Here, take a seat.” She smiled and said.
“I would like to ask you something?” I nervously asked her.
                “Go.” She said.
“D-d-do you have a boyfriend?” I tautly asked her.
“Uhh, I don’t have any. Why?” She replied.
On my mind, I was shouting in joy. My heart was jumping gladly. “Can I court you?” I asked her hoping that she’d say yes.
“O__O, okay.” She was shocked but she said yes.
“Thanks!!” I almost shout upon her.
“I think it’s already time for me to go home. Shall I leave you now first?” she asked.
“Let’s go. I’ll bring you home. Can I? I’d just get my car.” I asked her.
“Ah, no, no. I can go by my own.” She replied.
“Is that so? Please. Let me? I just want to make sure that you’ll be home safe.” I asked her.
“^___^, Okay.” She agreed at last.
It had been my duty and habit for each day already to bring her home. I’m not the rude man anymore. I engaged myself to be busy courting her. I gave her simple presents each day, Friends, then best of friends; I think I already changed her as well. She’s not that timid anymore, she already learned to mingle with others and join me with my somewhat crazy attitude. We always have piffle conversations, but she doesn’t feel tired with that habit of us. My parents and teachers as well, conspicuously recognized my new attitudes. I have been a good man from having a rambunctious life at first.
I bring her at the school garden and talk to her as this.
“Will you take me as your boyfriend now?” I asked her smiling.
                “Y-E-S!” She replied.
“YES!! YES!! YES!!” I shouted in fact.
“O___O You are my first boyfriend! And I’m so glad that you have been that man I’ve been dreaming of.” She told me.
“I love you KARLAAAAAAA! You’re the only girl who made me serious of love. I promise that I would not fail you. I may have failed a lot of girls out there, but this would be not anymore. Believe me, Opposites Attract.” I told her.
“I love you ANDYYYYYYY! I believe in you. I know you won’t bring me down. :))” she said in return.
Each day passed that we were together. Our relationship was that of a legal one. Our parents new, and were proud of us two. I had been an honor student, inspired by her, and she had been an honor student as well, inspired by me. Every last day of the month, we went to the mall, watch movies, and go to the park. The park had been our favorite rendezvous every time that we’ll have a tryst.
Now, we’re 3 years already going strong with a better relationship.

FAITHFUL COUPLE

Memories and experiences,
Truths, promises, chances and learnings,
Trusts, strengths, properties and givings,
Time and love; a twosome coalesces.

Behold thy reminiscences, ascertain such experiences,
Ability to forget is great, yet we know nothing of what in the future will happen;
Tell thy exceptional someone, your candour and reality,
Never do worthless promises, if you would just break them in return.

Learn to bestow chances for him, and value misfortunes of him,
Don’t let him be down once more, be pleased ‘bout his wrongs to learn from;
Entrust thyself upon his words, but ensure your strength for tomorrow,
Trust him and he’ll be true to you, treat him real and he’ll be sincere.

Can be a property of yours, but be a property of him too.
In any relationship, it’s not what you get but what you give.
You would have seen him love you, today more than yesterday, and less than tomorrow.
The path for true love with your pair means more – with hardships and pleasure.
