OPPOSITES ATTRACT

Each day of my life, I’ve been dreaming of her. I’ve been wondering whom that girl was. I was thinking of how she looks, how she acts, and everything about her. But this habit of mine was really a new one. I was a knave, fainéant, and contumacious guy. My question was how and why was it that I seem to be really serious of her, since, I was a playboy as well. I have played games upon other girls out there, telling them that I want them and we will be, and after some time, I’d just break up on them. Every girl I make fell in love with me was just a bet. But now, I seem to be a secret and anonymous sleuth of her. To accept that fact, I can’t help myself.
Being a famous student at school, due to my exceptional attitudes, I am considered to be the biggest problem of everyone. I was the most important topic of teachers during their weekly assemblage. I am the central news for each day. Even those queues at the canteen made me their usual topic. How known I really am. Perhaps, that’s the reason why others became garrulous –they make it as a habit for each day to talk of me.
I may be an intelligent student, but regard me as the laziest of the laziest. My life still was ennui. I’m just that type of person who always wears a smile behind my life full of obnoxious things. Family problems there, financial problems here, social problems there, behavioural problems here, and even other problems, I have them entirely. Probably that’s the reason why at sometimes I turn to be uncouth that they even sees and think of me as a fastidious one already. But I just tell myself that this girl would be the solution to my problems. Maybe I can be a better person if I have her.
In just a day, I finally met the prettiest girl I have never met before. She’s new at the campus –a transferee scholar. I, being a playboy, wasting time with some nonsense things and playing games with a girl’s heart, at last, met my opponent. My perspective of love –love was just a game where you can fool and play with, have changed eventually. I found love for that time as a thing and a feeling by which when you’re hurt, the pain really was there, and you can’t easily move on because the love stays for real. She caught me differently. I want her to be my girl. I need her, not just to change me as a person, but because I do love her.
I asked one of my friends to ask her name. He was shocked for that was the very first time that I came stupid with a girl. He asked me but I just pushed him and tell him to just please go. He did it and in return, he had her name –Karla. He still can’t believe why I seem to be really addicted to the girl, but I just take it
The next day, I approached her in the afternoon, while she was eating at the school cafeteria.
“Can I join you?” I asked her.
                “Yes.” She answered simply.
“You’re new in here, right?” I asked her.
“Ah, yes.” She simply answered once again.
“Are you afraid of me?” I questioned her. She really was a coy type of girl.
“No, but I have not known you in the first place.” She told me.
“Ah, well I’m Andy. Everyone in here knew me because I’m the famous guy they consider, but please do not be anxious of me. I can be a better person, if you’ll try to accept me, even just as a friend.” I introduced myself to her.
“^___^, I am Karla. It’s not a problem for me if you’ll be a friend, since no one had been my friend in here yet.” She smiles as she answers me.
“Friends?” I give her my hand and ask.
“Sure.” She smiled and shook my hand.
                *RINGGGGGGGGG!!*
“Oh, the bell rang, I must go now. Nice meeting you.” She approached me and leaves.
“Bye, take care.” I silently tell myself.
The next day, I saw her at the bench sitting alone. I would like to go to her, but my friends would mind me. I just tell them that I have to go back to the room to get something, but I went on the other way. I go to her, and…
                “K-K-Karla,.”
“Ohw, Andy. Why? Is there something wrong? Are you alright?” She asked.
“Uh, can I join you again?” I answered.
“Yeah, sure. Here, take a seat.” She smiled and said.
“I would like to ask you something?” I nervously asked her.
                “Go.” She said.
“D-d-do you have a boyfriend?” I tautly asked her.
“Uhh, I don’t have any. Why?” She replied.
On my mind, I was shouting in joy. My heart was jumping gladly. “Can I court you?” I asked her hoping that she’d say yes.
“O__O, okay.” She was shocked but she said yes.
“Thanks!!” I almost shout upon her.
“I think it’s already time for me to go home. Shall I leave you now first?” she asked.
“Let’s go. I’ll bring you home. Can I? I’d just get my car.” I asked her.
“Ah, no, no. I can go by my own.” She replied.
“Is that so? Please. Let me? I just want to make sure that you’ll be home safe.” I asked her.
“^___^, Okay.” She agreed at last.
It had been my duty and habit for each day already to bring her home. I’m not the rude man anymore. I engaged myself to be busy courting her. I gave her simple presents each day, Friends, then best of friends; I think I already changed her as well. She’s not that timid anymore, she already learned to mingle with others and join me with my somewhat crazy attitude. We always have piffle conversations, but she doesn’t feel tired with that habit of us. My parents and teachers as well, conspicuously recognized my new attitudes. I have been a good man from having a rambunctious life at first.
I bring her at the school garden and talk to her as this.
“Will you take me as your boyfriend now?” I asked her smiling.
                “Y-E-S!” She replied.
“YES!! YES!! YES!!” I shouted in fact.
“O___O You are my first boyfriend! And I’m so glad that you have been that man I’ve been dreaming of.” She told me.
“I love you KARLAAAAAAA! You’re the only girl who made me serious of love. I promise that I would not fail you. I may have failed a lot of girls out there, but this would be not anymore. Believe me, Opposites Attract.” I told her.
“I love you ANDYYYYYYY! I believe in you. I know you won’t bring me down. :))” she said in return.
Each day passed that we were together. Our relationship was that of a legal one. Our parents new, and were proud of us two. I had been an honor student, inspired by her, and she had been an honor student as well, inspired by me. Every last day of the month, we went to the mall, watch movies, and go to the park. The park had been our favorite rendezvous every time that we’ll have a tryst.
Now, we’re 3 years already going strong with a better relationship.
